Roland

Hanoverian stallion ROLAND is a son of Holstein stallion Ramiro’s Son II who completed an 11-month training course in Adelheidsdorf/Germany, scoring 127,13 points in general index and 128,97 showjumping points.

Sire of stallion Ramiro’s Son II, Holsteiner Ramiro Z is a grandson of Polish Anglo-Arab stallion Ramzes. Following a great career in sport, stallion Ramiro Z was an outstanding crop sire in Germany and in a famous stud of Leon Melchior in Belgium- Zangerscheide. Stallion Ramiro Z sired Ratina Z who is “the mare of the XX century.” Her achievements in sport as well as her breeding results are of the highest value.

Dam of stallion Roland, mare Weiga, is a daughter of stallion Wittelsbach. He had a remarkable talent for dressage and was, to a large extent, able to pass it on to his offspring.

Granddam, mare Gallerie was a sister of gelding Garlie who was very successful in jumping at hippodromes in Germany and abroad. Great-granddam, mare Dolli was the second best crop dam in the Hanoverian jumping program until 1996.

Mare Dolli was a daughter of stallion Don Carlos, whose granddaughter, mare Dollar Girl used to be an outstanding world-class jumper and now has become a stud mare in Mexico in the famous stud farm Alfonso Romo. Stallion Roland’s pedigree includes some oriental blood from stallions Ramzes-xo and Gazal VII-o and some English blood from stallions Cottage Son, Manometer, Rittersporn and Wisenbaum.

Roland is successful in jumping competitions. He has achieved considerable results as a sire. Two of his sons, Ramirez and Fabio completed a 100-day test in Training School in Kwidzyn and were qualified for breeding.

Stallion Rolex was a champion at the Foal Championship Józefin 2000. He is a recognised stallion who was sold to the Bogusławice Herd of Stallions.

Mare Avra V is owned and bred by Z. Koperski. She became second vice-champion in the same foal championship.

Stallion Rockman has also completed Training School in Bogusławice. He showed exceptional predisposition to jumping and dressage. At present he competes in jumping.

Mare Sweet Lady was 1st vice-champion of foals in Józefin in 2003.

Stallion Roland was honored with the title of the “Stallion of the Year” of the Association of the Polish Warmblood Horse in 2002.
