Calderon

CALDERON is an Oldenburg stallion with outstanding beauty and elegance as well as horseback qualities. His pedigree has five links with Polish Anglo Arab stallion, Ramzes, who was an ambassador of Polish breeding in Germany. Stallion Ramzes added a lot to the breeding pool of Westphalian and Holstein horses by foaling many stallions, mares and sport horses. He started a line of dressage horses in Westphalian breeding and a line of jumping horses in Holstein breeding. Calderon’s sire, Holsteiner Carolus, is an outstanding stud and jumper. He is progeny of stallion Capitol that was ranked among top sires of jumpers in the world ranking many times. He also presents the bloodline of Cottage Son xx.

Calderon’s dam, Holstein mare Weida is a daughter of Ahor Z, a Hanoverian stallion, a brother of mare Argentina, the dam of the famous mare Ratina Z.

Ratina Z presents the bloodline of Alme Z-S.F., the famous stallion who had a great influence on the breeding of jumpers.

The first foals of Calderon have excellent presence, type and superb movement. Stallion Calderon may be called “the king of foal championships” as in the last three years his progeny have been very successful in foal championships, becoming champions or vice-champions. Calderon has been a sport horse, taking part in jumping competitions, where he was recognized for a very good technique
